Government overreach drives up the cost of living by inflating the price of housing, goods, and services. To stop unelected officials from passing hidden taxes through red tape, we are championing the adoption of a North Dakota REINS Act. This would require the North Dakota Legislature to approve any agency regulation with a significant economic impact, ensuring that major policy shifts are decided by the people’s elected representatives rather than administrative offices.
