AFP-North Dakota Responds to Governor Armstrong’s State of the State Address
Bismarck, ND – Americans for Prosperity–North Dakota (AFP–ND) responded to Gov. Kelly Armstrong’s State of the State address as he kicked off a special legislative session on Wednesday. AFP-ND State Director Justin Forde praised the governor’s commitment to ensuring North Dakotans have greater control, flexibility, and choice in their health care, especially in rural communities.
“Governor Armstrong kept his remarks short so lawmakers can focus on what truly matters – expanding access to healthcare for rural patients,” Forde said. “We hope legislators can use these next three days of session to remove barriers, increase options to care, and empower families to make healthy decisions that work for them.”
Through broad-based grassroots outreach, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is driving long-term solutions to the country’s biggest problems. AFP activists engage friends and neighbors on key issues and encourage them to take an active role in building a culture of mutual benefit, where people succeed by helping one another. AFP recruits and unites North Dakotans behind a common goal of advancing policies that will help people improve their lives. For more information, visit www.AmericansForProsperity.org.
